Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI) Free Zone
The Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation (SRTIP) Park have opened its doors to the investors and the public in the Emirates of Sharjah. SRTIP, an initiative of the American University of Sharjah Enterprises (AUSE) was established in 2016 by a royal decree of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council of the UAE. The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation (SRTI) Park is a Free Trade Zone near to the University City of Sharjah. It is one of the newest Freezone of UAE and is focused on promoting academics, research, & innovation in the region.
The SRTI Park aims at including academics, industry experience, and government support to encourage the environment of innovation, research & development. Phase 1 of the park consist of 3 interlinked buildings of more than 60,000 square feet. It includes the park’s headquarters, laboratories, and innovation centers, and will host a mix of Startups, SMEs & Anchor companies that focus on research, development, and innovation. The SRTI park is specifically focused on businesses that will invest their resources in water technology, renewable energy, environmental technology, digitization, industrial design 4.0, and mobility & smart cities.
